Spinach Dal

The perfect winter warmer, nourishing and delicious. 

Ingredients

1 packet Turmeric & Co Organic Mysoor Dal or Organic Mung Dal

1 tablespoon of ghee or oil

3 cups water (add extra water for thinner consistency)

½ cup of chopped tomato

1 cup baby spinach

Directions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee or oil on medium heat

  2. When hot add contents of dal pack and mix

  3. Add spinach, water and tomato then bring to boil

  4. Reduce heat and simmer, with lid on for 20 mins or until dal is soft

  5. Garnish with fresh coriander and lemon

  6. Serve with rice or bread, or devour it all by itself!
